BIOGRAPHY

Evan Tyler Stallone is a Pennsylvanian Artist who earned his BFA degree from the Pennsylvania College of Art and Design in Lancaster, PA. He also received the 2009 Outstanding Student Award in Fine Arts from PCAD and has shown his work in several states around the nation. Evan studied at the Chautauqua School of Art in Chautauqua, New York in 2009 with professional artists such as Ying Li, Stanley Lewis, Glen Goldberg, Barbara Grossman, Julie Langsam and Carole Robb. He is currently working in Reading, PA and plans to continue his practice in Philadelphia, PA.

Evan's work compiles observation and pictoral invention with memory triggers that often reference past experiences and lead into an explanation of personal emotions. He feels that by working in this relative manner, he may create an authentic and truthful way of explaining the self and his perception and projection onto the world around him. Evan's work lies between reality and memory, he hopes that this will bring a personal interpretation of all that he sees and will hopefully create a language similar to his personal story-telling which can commonly act as a trail of thought or an on going practice of mental associations.
